Amid China Tension, Australia-South Korea Seal $717m Defence Deal; Will Get K-9 Howitzers From Seoul

The deal will see South Korean defence company Hanwha provide Australia with artillery weapons, supply vehicles and radars. The deal was announced during South Korean President Moon Jae-in’s four-day Australia visit. It is the largest defence contract struck between Australia and an Asian nation.
